The McLaren Flat Recreation Ground Association provides the local community with facilities for sports, recreation and social events.

The McLaren Flat Community Club Bar is open to the public, and members also get to enjoy a light supper and prize draws. The Club also hosts regular community dinner nights where the public is also welcome for a great value feed.
